Dare to think, dare to do, Mr. Nguyen Xuan Tuan, Co Do sub-area, Moc Chau Farm town, now Thao Nguyen ward, boldly brought That Thon peach variety, also known as Tien Vua peach, an ancient ornamental peach variety of Nhat Tan peach village, Hanoi to Moc Chau to plant and for many consecutive years was honored as a typical farmer of Moc Chau town.

Two to three months before Tet, peach growers must carefully care for the trees, prune the roots, graft buds, shape and replace each tree and treat the soil so that the flowers can bloom in time for Tet. Among them, there are many peach trees with rough trunks that are more than ten years old.

Since 2010, every Tet holiday, Mr. Tuan has transported peach trees to Hanoi to rent out, and after the full moon of the first lunar month, he transports them back to Moc Chau to take care of them. On average, every Tet holiday, his family rents out 300 to 500 trees at prices ranging from 5 to 30 million VND. After deducting all expenses, his family earns more than 1 billion VND.

Mr. Tuan’s family is a typical farming household of Moc Chau, having been recognized as a good farmer and business household at the provincial level for many years. Thanks to his diligence and creativity, Mr. Tuan has not only enriched his family but also created more job opportunities and economic development for local farmers; contributing to improving economic efficiency in agricultural production on the Moc Chau plateau./.
