VOV.VN - The People’s Committee of Son La City, Son La Province, has just announced the organization of the pedestrian street for the first time.
The operating area of the pedestrian street is on Hoang Quoc Viet Street, Chieng Coi Ward and Quyet Thang Ward, Son La City, from the three-way intersection at the beginning of Hoang Quoc Viet Street with National Highway 6, to the end of Hoang Quoc Viet Street turning into Me Ban Hamlet.

This activity is held twice a month according to each theme, on Saturdays, from 7:30 PM to 11:00 PM.

The pedestrian street attracted a large number of people and tourists on the inauguration day of the renovation and upgrade of Hoang Quoc Viet Street.

Specifically, in May, the city will organize an event themed “Children’s Festival” on May 31st, with many attractive, useful, and interesting activities for children. In addition, there will be street cultural and artistic activities, cuisine, folk games, musical performances, exhibitions, souvenir stalls...

The activities of the pedestrian street will be organized according to themes associated with national holidays, festivals, and events of the country and the province.

The operation of Hoang Quoc Viet pedestrian street will become an attractive destination for residents and tourists visiting Son La City, contributing to promoting economic development, creating a new dynamic and modern urban cultural feature, while also promoting the natural beauty, people, and identity of Son La City to friends nationwide and internationally.
