On May 30, the Military Command of Son La Province held a preliminary review conference on the emulation movement “The Military Logistics Sector Following Uncle Ho’s Teachings” for the 2020–2025 period.

During the 2020–2025 period, the Party Committee of the Son La Provincial Military Command thoroughly grasped and effectively implemented the Resolutions of the Central Military Commission on logistics and technical work; emphasized the importance of the emulation movement “The Military Logistics Sector Following Uncle Ho’s Teachings,” and enhanced the role and responsibility of party committees, commanders at all levels, and the awareness of officers and soldiers throughout the force.

The Party Committee directed the full implementation of the three components of the emulation movement, ensuring adequate and timely logistics support for the armed forces in training and combat readiness tasks, promoting increased production, improving living standards, and ensuring the health of soldiers.

Party committees and unit commanders closely followed their missions, developed plans, and synchronously implemented them, integrating the movement’s content and targets into the practical activities of logistics and technical work. They developed, adjusted, and supplemented the system of documents to ensure logistics and technical support for combat; maintained adequate quantity, quality, and types of logistics and technical materials, means, and equipment.

The Provincial Military Command awarded certificates of merit to individuals with outstanding achievements.

Logistics and technical training followed the motto “Fundamental, Practical, and Solid,” ensuring alignment with the actual conditions of each unit; annual inspection results showed 100% met requirements, with over 85% rated as good or excellent.

In the 2023 Military Region-level Contest “Building Excellent Military Food Supply Units and Good Quartermaster Management,” the unit won first prize. In 2024, they won the Special Excellent Unit award in the contests “Regular, Safe, and Efficient Transport Platoon” and “Regular, Safe, and Economical Fuel Depot” organized by the Military Region; they also won third place overall in the 2024 Military Region-level contest “Technique of Digging and Using Type-1 Hoang Cam Stove.”

On this occasion, the Provincial Military Command awarded certificates of merit to 4 collectives and 8 individuals with outstanding achievements in implementing the emulation movement “The Military Logistics Sector Following Uncle Ho’s Teachings” for the 2020–2025 period.
